Position: Documentation Specialist-In Process
Reports To: Assistant Quality Director

Summary of Functions:

Coordinates, implements and maintains GPS’s document control. Strictly follows established procedures and policies to meet the demands of document control.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for maintenance of company documents
  • Review all documents for accuracy and completeness for Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Maintain integrity of the Material Batch Record (MBR) and all other production records
  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Procedures, Quality Policy and regulations
  • Observes employees to ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices
  • Assist in supporting external audits, ensuring timely response to documentation request for auditors
  • Provides CP Labels to the production floor
  • Archive retention samples
  • Reviews the existing document control and GMP processes and practices across all the MBR /GPS packages to identify any inconsistencies, gaps
  • Maintain logs books for archive storage and retrieval
  • Adhere to the captive clothing (PPE) guidelines when working in designated areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • May engage in some repetitive motion
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of product

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a Quality environment
  • Excellent communication, organization and process skill are required
  • Basic mathematics knowledge
